In a wellness industry saturated with empty promises, misinformation, and an endless array of supplements, Mila Magnani is proposing a new way to approach women’s health: with empathy, scientific backing, and a strong sense of community and support among women.

Recently recognized by Forbes US, the 24-year-old Mexican entrepreneur and co-founder of Milamend is quickly establishing herself as one of the most influential voices in women’s health. Hailing from Mexico City and with a background spanning fashion, science, and wellness, Mila’s story is as powerful as her mission.

A former model and NYU alumna, Mila lived for years with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and hypothyroidism. Like many women, she faced costly and ineffective treatments that, rather than helping, left her feeling isolated in a system that didn’t listen. Frustrated and without answers, she decided to share her personal journey on social media. What began as a form of release turned into a movement. Today, Mila has built a loyal community of over one million women who see in her a relatable, genuine, and empowering voice.

“Nowadays, care for PCOS is completely focused on fertility, and the system only starts paying attention when you have trouble conceiving.” Ovulatory disorders, such as those caused by conditions like PCOS, account for 30% to 40% of female infertility cases. But as Magnani recently pointed out in her interview with Forbes, “What about the student dealing with acne, brain fog, weight gain, and irregular cycles? The mom who’s already had children? Or the woman who never wanted them? They’re left without answers.”

In 2024, she co-founded Milamend, a supplement brand designed to simplify hormonal care with a single science-backed solution. But Milamend is more than just a product: it is also an educational platform and an active community led by a founder who practices what she preaches. Mila’s authenticity remains at the heart of the project. From conversations with renowned scientists to accessible content on insulin resistance, Mila is democratizing access to hormonal health: inclusive, informed, and stigma-free.

A New Approach to Women’s Hormonal Care

Founded in 2024 by Mila Magnani and Lucas Labelle in New York, Milamend emerged as a direct response to the growing demand for accessible, comprehensive, and evidence-based solutions for women’s hormonal care. Far from miracle formulas or overloaded wellness routines, the brand’s approach focuses on simplifying access to effective and understandable tools for women dealing with conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), hypothyroidism, insulin resistance, and other metabolic disorders.

Milamend’s flagship product is a powdered drink formulated to support hormonal and metabolic function. Its composition includes ingredients such as Myo-Inositol and D-Chiro-Inositol (in the clinically supported 40:1 ratio), Vitamin B6, Zinc, Selenium, Chromium, Coenzyme Q10, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Methylated Folate, and Amino Acids. This combination aims to improve insulin sensitivity, regulate hormone levels, support restful sleep, strengthen the immune system, and provide protection against cellular oxidative stress, among other benefits.

According to data collected in an observational study with early users, 85% reported increased energy within the first month, 78% experienced more regular menstrual cycles, and 72% noticed improvements in skin and reduced bloating by the third month of use. The brand plans to launch its first clinical trial in mid-2025.

With expert advisors such as Dr. Evan Mullen (Stanford-trained physician), Lark Swofford, RPh (specialist in pharmacology, nutraceuticals, and women’s hormonal health), and regulatory expert Brian Yam, Milamend is grounded in clinical research, high-quality ingredients, and rigorous safety standards.

“I assembled a team of medical and regulatory experts to ensure every claim we make is safe, legal, and honest. In a supplement market with so little regulation and even less accountability, it’s essential to look for brands that transparently share their certifications: NSF, GMP compliance, production in FDA-registered facilities, as well as attention to logical dosing, fair pricing, and—above all—projects with an authentic story behind them, not just brands chasing a trend.”

Despite being a young brand, Milamend made a significant impact with a launch that generated over $1 million USD in just 10 days, with restocks selling out within minutes. Today, customers in 84 countries across North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania trust not only the product but also Mila’s story.

With its first clinical trial scheduled for 2025, Mila remains focused on what truly matters: transforming the conversation around women’s health, one woman at a time.

“Personally, my focus now is on growth—not just as a founder, but as a leader. I want to continue building a company culture that truly lives and breathes our mission. Our community deserves a brand that is present—not only with high-quality products but with education, empathy, and integrity every step of the way.”
