MMW Collective Announces Its Second Paris Showroom Edition for January 2025

I. MMW COLLECTIVE: THE SHOWROOM

Paris, France – December 2024 – Following the success of its inaugural edition during Paris Fashion Week in January 2024, MMW Collective returns on January 25th, 2025, to present its second showroom edition in collaboration with Tuomas Merikoski, founder of AALTO INTERNATIONAL and RECODED™. This event will bring together emerging brands at The Ideal Artist House No. 2, located in Rens Lipsius Studio, a beautiful 600 sq. m gallery space by Canal Saint Martin, united by a shared commitment to quality, design, and craftsmanship.

MMW Collective creates an inspirational space that welcomes buyers, customers, media, and influencers, all dedicated to transforming the fashion industry into one where creativity and conscious design are at the core of every brand’s business. This edition fosters awareness and connections among like-minded individuals and brands, including retailers, magazines, curators, and more.


As the fashion industry continues to face an increasing pressure to address its environmental impact, the next generation of brands has the power and commitment to drive meaningful change. MMW Collective & RECODED™ are at the forefront of this movement, showcasing new more circular vision and promoting meaningful engagement with brands focused on craftsmanship, people, and nature. By bridging the gap between conscious consumers and ethical artisans, MMW Collective & RECODED™ Solution cuts through the noise of mega-labels, offering a platform for brands that prioritize sustainability and transparency.
 

During this five-day event, MMW Collective curates a dynamic platform for emerging and established brands to connect with over 300 industry leaders, including retailers, curators, and press. What makes this gathering truly stand out is its innovative model—excluding the typical commission fees that dominate the industry. This refreshing approach not only fosters meaningful collaborations but also empowers brands to prioritize financial sustainability, paving the way for growth that's both organic and impactful.

IV. THE FOUNDER: MAYA WEISSWASSER


Originally from Tel Aviv, Maya Weisswasser has 11 years of experience within the fashion industry across New York, London, Milan and Paris. She specializes in distribution, wholesale, B2B & B2C, pop ups, events, business development and growth for emerging brands.

Maya has always been interested in the bridge between the fashion industry and the environment, and her main approach has consistently been quality over quantity.

 

Her deep passion for community, sustainability and the growth of brands who are dedicated to making a difference is the core of founding MMW Collective.

III. MMW COLLECTIVE: THE PLATFORM

Throughout the year, MMW Collective provides guidance to high-quality, sustainable brands, offering consultancy services in communication, partnership building, digital engagement, and brand positioning strategies, with an emphasis on sustainable growth. The goal of MMW Collective is to build a space for sustainability within the fashion and design industry, creating a platform where brands and retailers can engage in conscious business practices. By showcasing the creations and stories of these brands, MMW Collective fosters both personal and professional relationships.

MMW Collective is proud to welcome RECODED™ - innovative Digital Product Passport platform and luxury upcycling solution, as a key partner. In this collaboration, MMW Collective will serve as RECODED™’s Business Development (BD) and Sales partner. 


RECODED™ offers a cutting-edge solution for the fashion industry, driving circular practices and enhancing consumer experience through innovative technology.

By providing each product with a unique digital product passport (DPP), their team ensures full traceability and seamless life cycle services from production to resale, repair, or recycling. MMW Collective is thrilled to announce its partnership with The Ideal Artist House No.2, a unique venue located inside Rens Lipsius Studio in the vibrant 10th arrondissement of Paris. Known for its intimate yet expansive space, this gallery offers an inspiring canvas for emerging brands to showcase their work during this second showroom edition. Rens Lipsius, an autodidact artist whose work spans Paris, New York, and Italy, has created and designed a space that encourages creative exploration. Through this partnership, MMW Collective is able to present a dynamic venue for its curated collection of brands, reflecting both innovation and artistic expression.
