Contemporary Fine Jewelry
Handcrafted in the Peruvian Andes

Where the Andes Meet the Atelier:
Yanantin Introduces a New Language for Fine Jewelry
Founded by Peruvian sisters Valery and Kiara Salazar, Yanantin is a made-to-order fine jewelry house rooted in Andean philosophy, artisanal goldsmithing, and a radical commitment to conscious luxury.
Lima, Peru — March 2026 — In a landscape where luxury is increasingly scrutinized for its origins and intentions, a new voice emerges from the Peruvian Andes. Yanantin is a contemporary fine jewelry house that brings together what the industry has long kept apart: exquisite craftsmanship and ethical integrity, cultural depth and modern design, slow production and lasting desirability.
Every piece is handcrafted by master goldsmiths in an atelier set at 3,000 metres above sea level in the Peruvian Andes, made to order in Fairmined 18K gold and set with lab-grown diamonds cultivated using 100% renewable energy. Yanantin does not simply make jewelry. It proposes a different relationship with luxury itself.
A Name That Carries Meaning
In the Andean worldview, Yanantin describes the harmony that arises when two complementary forces come together to create something greater than either alone — a third, balanced space. For sisters Valery and Kiara Salazar, this concept is not merely symbolic. It is the founding principle of their brand, their creative process, and the way they move through the world.
Growing up in one of the world’s largest gold-mining regions, the sisters witnessed both the extraordinary value that precious materials can create and the damage that comes with irresponsible extraction. Yanantin was born from a question they asked each other: What would it mean to turn that inheritance into something we could truly be proud of?
“Yanantin began with a simple question between us: what would it look like to make jewelry we could truly stand behind? We grew up in the Peruvian Andes, a region shaped by gold, and we wanted to turn that inheritance into pieces we could be proud of — jewelry made with care, built to last, and rooted in our own values.”

The Collections:
Classics & Khipu
Yanantin launches with two collections that together define the brand’s creative territory. Nine pieces across two distinct vocabularies — one rooted in timeless form, the other in Andean storytelling — each handcrafted in Fairmined 18K white and yellow gold and set with lab-grown diamonds cultivated with 100% renewable energy.
Classics is a study in quiet refinement. These are essential silhouettes — elevated by exceptional handwork, the provenance of each material, and a standard of finish that transforms familiar forms into something distinctly precious. The collection comprises five pieces: a Round Solitaire Necklace and a Pear Solitaire Necklace, designed for layering or worn alone; Stud Earrings and Drop Earrings that move between the everyday and the evening; and a Half-Eternity Ring whose clean line belies its meticulous hand-setting. Elegant in their simplicity and versatile by nature, they are made to move with you — through seasons, places, and moments. Meant to be worn, treasured, and passed on.
Khipu carries the narrative heart of Yanantin. Inspired by the ancient Andean khipu — a system of knotted cords once used to record stories, data, and memory — the collection reimagines the knot as a contemporary symbol of connection. Four pieces — Khipu Necklace, Khipu Ring, Khipu Earrings, and Khipu Bracelet — each centre on the khipu motif for the number two: a subtle, sculptural reference to unity, duality, and harmony — Yanantin’s very own interpretation of its name rendered in gold and stone.
Slow Luxury, By Design
In an era of immediacy, Yanantin chooses patience. Every piece is made to order — a deliberate decision that ensures intentional production, minimal waste, and the level of care that comes from crafting one piece at a time. The goldsmiths who bring each design to life work in an atelier set at 3,000 metres above sea level in the Peruvian Andes, carrying forward expertise passed down through generations.
The brand’s material choices are equally deliberate. Fairmined gold guarantees responsible sourcing from artisanal mines that meet the highest social and environmental standards. Lab-grown diamonds, cultivated with renewable energy, offer the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as mined stones — without the ecological cost. Together, these choices form a supply chain where beauty and responsibility are not in tension, but in balance.
The Founders
Valery and Kiara Salazar are Peruvian sisters whose complementary paths led them to create Yanantin. Kiara built her career in the contemporary art world, bringing a curatorial eye and sensitivity to narrative. Valery developed her expertise in marketing and market research, grounding every decision in strategic clarity. Over the past decade, they have lived across six countries — an experience that deepened their connection to their own heritage and sharpened their desire to create from a place of cultural authenticity.
Their dual perspective — one rooted in art, the other in strategy — defines Yanantin’s DNA: every piece is developed through constant dialogue between creative vision and craft, between aspiration and precision.
